Sri Lankan School Cricket, Division 1,11 and 111 segmented and approved by the Ministry of Education in collaboration with Sri Lanka School Cricket Association. Base on performance of the Schools their division will be changed yearly.
Sunday Observer has renamed those Schools as Division 1 for Platinum, Division 11 for Gold, Division 111 for Silver Category. All Schools falling under the respective division are informed to take note of this renaming.

Peterite Lakshina Rodrigo kept his lead polling 48,260 votes to Richmonds Charith Asalanka ( 40,806) at the end of the 18th week count in the Sunday Observer/Mobitel Most Popular Schoolboy Cricketer Of The Year 2015.

The battle for supremacy for the top segment 'platinum' between Peterite Lakshina Rodrigo and Richmondite Charith Asalanka continue at the final stages of the Sunday Observer/Mobitel Most Popular Schoolboy Cricketer Of The Year 2015 contest.

Peterite Lakshina comes back strongly

Peterite Lakshina Rodrigo sprang into the lead once again polling 36,668 votes to his nearest rival Charith Asalanka of Richmond College Galle in the platinum segment for division 1 schools playing in the SLC schools tournament.

Richmondite Asalanda takes the lead

Charith Asalanka (31887) of RichmondCollege, Galle took over a slender lead of 394 votes over last week's winner Lakshina Rodrigo (31493) of St.Peter's as the tussle for the first place in the platinum segment for division 1 schools is becoming anyone's guess at the end of 15th week counting in the Sunday Observer/ Mobitel Most Popular Schoolboy Cricketer Of The year Contest 2015.

Peterite Lakshina Rodrigo (3,742) sprang back into the lead replacing last week’s winner Raveen Sayer of Trinity College who was pushed into third place at the end of the 5th week’s counting in the Sunday Observer/ Mobitel Most Popular Schoolboy Cricketer Of The Year 2015 competition.

Trinitian Sayer keeps lead in Platinum contest

Raveen Sayer of Trinity College Kandy remained on top of the Platinum contest polling 2631 votes while Randev Pathirana of Royal College took the lead with 1338 votes ousting last week's winner Ramindu Nikechala of Devapathiraja College Ratgama in the Gold segment for schools playing in division two at the Sunday Observer/ Mobitel Most popular Schoolboy Cricketer Of The year contest at the end of the 4th week of voting.

Trinity’s Sayer takes lead

There were two significant changes when Trinity’s Raveen Sayer with (1771) votes took the lead from last weeks’s winner Lakshina Rodrigo of St.Peter’s Colombo who polled in 1730 to take the second place in the Platinum Contest at the end of the third week’s count in the Sunday Observer/Mobitel Most Popular Schoolboy Cricketer Of The Year Contest.

No changes in voting in Most Popular Contest

There were no changes in the second week's voting as Peterite Lakshina Rodrigo occupied the first place polling 1,470 votes , while Richmond's Charith Asalanka and Trinity's Reveen Sayer were placed second and third polling 1150 and 809 votes respectively at the end of count number two at the Sunday Observer/ Mobitel Most Popular Schoolboy Cricketer Of The year 2015 contest.
